To light a candle is an ancient religious and cultural ritual.
The light symbolises the divine and a feeling of unity and a closeness develops when we gather around a lit candle.
When we light a candle for those who are no longer amongst us, it is to remember and honour them.
The granite lamp is available in four types of granite: Hallandia, Vanga, Black and Grey, with either flame treated, polished or split surface and blends harmoniously into any memorial. The measurements are approximately 12 x 12 x 20 cm and it is made to fit on top of a Granite Vase.
A cork stopper at the bottom "lifts" the lamp so that it appears to be hovering mid air and makes it easy to renew the candle.
The lamp provides a warm, discreet light.
It can only be used outside.
